RIBBONS |
| Duties include placing computer generated labels onto ribbons and filing ribbons into family folders. You will need to check in at the beginning of the meet and then report to the Ribbon Table one hour after the meet begins. Your duties may not be completed until an hour after the last event of the meet. |
| |
|
RUNNER |
| Run record sheets from Recorders to Computer Table. This is to be done after each event. You must check in with the Head Timer 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet. You will be required to work the entire meet. |

SHEPHERDS |
| Shepherds line up the kids for their races by heat and lane. Although it is ultimately the parents' responsibility to be sure their kids get into their races, the shepherd is the one to be sure the kids are all assembled correctly, both for individual races and relays. Only 6/u and 7/8 have shepherds. This is a very important job. You must stay in the lane until all swimmers in your group are in the water. Check in with the Head Shepherd at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet, who will then assign you to a lane and give you a list of swimmers for the entire meet. The Kid Finder will help you locate missing swimmers. A nice way to be able to stay with your child before they swim. This job will accommodate those with small children, as you can bring them with you while you shepherd. |

SIGN-IN |
Prior to the meet: (1) Responsible for picking up team sign-in roster from Celine Gray or Karen/Dave Williams. (2) Download jobs schedule from the website.

Kid Finder: Work with Head Shepherd to locate missing swimmers for 6U and 7/8 relays. |

STROKE AND TURN |
| These are the "referees" who watch all races closely for form and appropriate swimming. Will need to disqualify swimmers as appropriate. The league provides a training session for all stroke and turn judges. Prior swimming experience is a plus, but not a necessity. |
| |
|
TIMERS |
| Three timers per lane use stopwatches to determine swimmers' times. Watches and instructions are available at the beginning of each meet. All timers will be required to work the entire length of the meet and must check in with the Head Timer 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet. This job is a great way to see all the action in the pool. Must be 18 years or older. Not recommended if you are alone with a small child to take care of during the meet. |
